Wiley X Eyewear Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Year-Long Effort Results in Company-Wide Quality Management System, Will Keep Wiley X on the Cutting Edge as Organization Grows Around The World

Wiley X® Eyewear, a leading provider of protective eyewear products for the U.S. military, outdoor sports enthusiasts and the safety industry in general, announced today it has received ISO 9001:2008 Certification from National Quality Assurance (NQA), USA.

This certification came as a result of an intensive, yearlong effort to improve every aspect of the company’s operations. “We’re very proud of this certification and the positive light it shines on every person within our organization,” said Wiley X Eyewear President of Sales Myles Freeman, Jr. “This certification ensures the industry that the quality of our products and our business practices will remain at a consistently high level. ISO 9001 is an International Quality Management System Standard that specifies requirements within which an organization demonstrates its ability to consistently provide product or service to meet customer and legal requirements, enhancing customer satisfaction and opening the way to continual improvement. It is recognized around the world as a standard of excellence, with more than 1,000,000 global organizations and 50,000 U.S. organizations certified. ISO 9001:2008 is the most current version of this standard.
