Did you know that John Lennon wore Berkshire Chase Savile Row Panto eyeglasses frames? He also wore the Savile Row Warwick eyeglasses in Rhodium (silver).

I think youīre right, the black Shuron Freeway seems to be the closest to Lennonīs geek glasses back then.
I guess Iīll buy them after all.
They are remindful of the Wayfarer with clear prescription lenses, or any number of retro frames.
I checked with our opticians and no one could tell exactly what those frames were. A couple of similar frames that you might want to take a look at are the Shuron Freeway in ebony and Shuron Sidewinder in black.

I’ve seen those photos in the past as well, being a big Beatles fan. If you can provide a link to one of those images, the best we could do is suggest similar frames. It is possible that the frames Lennon wore in those 40+ year-old photos are no longer made.
I have a question about John Lennonīs eyewear.
In early photos with The Beatles, mainly in rehearsals, Lennon wears a thick black glasses with a very important correction due to his myopia -Itīs well known he didnīt like to be seen with those glasses on- the thing is Iīd like to know what kind of glasses were those.

You are not the first to ask. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to get a definite answer.
I am also a fan of Stargate SG-1, but can’t be sure of the frames Michael Shanks wore in those early seasons. I cannot say for sure but they look like an old Oliver Peoples style frame. Looks like all acetate on top and bridge and metal core and eyewires? Pretty much an old P3 shape as well.
Berkshire Chase has the ability to duplicate eyeglass frames and custom make them.
I’m not sure how this works or if you’ll be able to help. I trying find out how to find out to find a pair of round frames like Michael Shanks wore while playing the part of Daniel Jackson,on the SciFi show Stargate SG-1.I Can you help?
