Here’s what Dr. Dhavid Cooper, our CEO, says:

It’s called a frame heater/warmer… goes by different names. They are usually only available to the trade I believe, but you could try Hilco.com a supplier of optical equipment, or search for one on ebay. You do have to have some experience with them so you don’t overheat or melt the frames. I would try find another optician or shop around till I found an expert who knows how to adjust frames well.

In terms of frames, I am a difficult fit. The left temple usually fits well and holds frame in place. The right temple almost always lies right against my head, especially right near the ear. This is a constant source of frustration; my glasses feel out of balance, and I feel uncomfortable. This happens everytime I get a new pair; usually every two-three years. I advise opticians in advance and still, it takes many many visits to get the fit just right. My question is this: what is the heating device that opticians use to gently coax the plastic temples into a shape that fits ? That is what I’m after. If it were possible, I would consider purchasing one but I have no idea how to go about that. I have been wearing glasses since the age of 7 and am now well into my fifties. In an attempt to make my life simpler, I’d be grateful for any leads. Thank you P Wormser

One of the little screws loosened up and fell out of the nosepiece of my Bolle Valorium sunglasses. I bought a repair kit for glasses with a bunch of screws in it, but none of them fit. Where can I obtain a Bolle replacement screw?

Hello,
I have a small face, nose bridge 14, with about a 50 eye size. Your new frame finder only inputs the eye size which results in hundreds of results. Are there any adult frames with 14 or 15 bridges?

Are you able to obtain components such as temples for the repair of discontinued styles? I am looking for either an entire ck 529 (53-19-145) frame or at least a right temple. Thank you for your help and advice.
