TAG Heuer Sunglasses: Built for Speed

Back in the ’50s and ’60s you would rarely see any other watch other than a Heuer on the wrist of a motorsport fan or racer. And as for timing there was no other stopwatch other than a Heuer. That condition still reigns but now the brand has also invaded the face of racing as Premiere Vision’s TAG Heuer Eyewear powers onto the speed scene. We’ve recently seen some high-profile examples of this presence.
Stateside racing contender Jonathan Summerton, seen here in his TAG Heuer Zeniths, has set his sights on a Formula One auto racing career building on his success in kart racing and A1GP, the winter open-wheeled series. We’ve also noticed Speed TV commentator Wendy Venurini consistently sporting TAG Heuer shields. And even NASCAR steps up to “Tag” the winner’s circle as observed on multi-season champion Jeff Gordon wearing the TAG Heuer Speedway Sunwear series Kimi at the Texas Speedway during several TV interviews.
