Costa Del Mar has C-Mate Bifocals that are ready-made sunglasses that have a power already inserted. If you are looking for a sunglass pair to fitover your prescription frames, then I suggest either Fitovers, Live Eyes, Cocoons, or Vistana.

There aren’t really any good reader “off the shelf” sunglasses like there are clear reading glasses you can buy over the counter. However, almost all of the major sunglass brands like Ray Ban, Oakley, Maui Jim, Serengeti and Bolle can have prescription reading lenses inserted into them with the appropriate UV protection and color tint. In addition, tinted reading lenses can be put into almost any regular prescription frame. However, we recommend a good quality name brand sunglass because the lens color and quality is superior with the name brand sunglasses. All you have to do is select a frame you like, fax or email us a copy of your prescription and we can make you some prescription sunglasses.
