Devandra Banhart in Latest Oliver Peoples Video

Oliver Peoples is a brand known for exquisite and classy style, sophistication, and celebrity image. Browse through some of the Oliver Peoples pics and vids over the last year or so and you’ll find Oliver Peoples shades adorning the mugs of Shirley Manson from Garbage, Jack Nicholson. Elijah Wood, Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson, Jay-Z and hundreds of others. So when they put a new vid up on there website, it’s no surprise to see a new celeb face like Devendra Banhart, but was is a little surprising is the sexiness of the video.

And herein lies the crux of the Oliver Peoples 2011 campaign: sexy, according to their website at least. The newest video, called “Devendra Banhart at Rainbow House” features DH and current flame Rebecca Schwartz splashing around in the bathtub, sucking face on the terrace, and sliding around in the bed all while wearing shades and hardly anything else. Some are calling the vid “soft porn,” while others are labeling “hipster trash.” The film is directed by Lisa Eisner, you can check it out below and label it yourself anyway you like.
