You might want to take a look at Blue Ribbon, Berkshire Chase, Artcraft and Sophia Loren frames. They all offer frames that can handle larger lenses in womens and unisex styles.
Try using our advanced search at http://www.framesdirect.com/SearchCatalog.asp. You’ll be able to search through women’s frames and see thumbnail images. For instance, I searched for female, plastic, combination eyeglasses and one of the thumbnails shows the A & A Optical New Globe L1002 eyeglasses, a larger frame style for women.

I am so disappointed with the size of eyewear today! I am a woman who needs wider frames, and with tri-focals it is difficult to fit those three lenses into the tiny (vertically measured) frames! Why aren’t designers making at least SOME larger frames (the big “Jackie O”-type) for those of us that need (and like!)that bigger frame? Sometimes we need practicality (with style) over just what’s “IN”… Look at St. Laurent’s own glasses of the 60′s and 70′s! Thanks! Mrs. T. House
