I want an eyeglasses for computer use only so why is the prescription.

The Gunner Optices (non RX) are for people who do not wear glasses and want the benefit of the Gunner technology to work at the computer. These are also good for those who wear contacts.
The Gunner Prescription lenses are for those who wear glasses and want to benefit from the gunner technology to work at the computer.
