As far as he is concerned, “Eyeglass stores are for suckers” citing markups of over 500 percent. The article says he has purchased a dozen frames online for what one pair could cost at a major brick and mortar eyeglass store.

Mitchell mentions FramesDirect.com as being a favorite online store for designer frames.
