Eyewear & Vision Resource Directory

We’ve introduced a new Eyewear Resource Directory on The Eye Zone blog. The idea is to provide a central location for links to other sites that complement our own. For instance, although our parent site, FramesDirect.com, is a huge online eyewear superstore, the site doesn’t carry things like accessories. If you are looking for, say, a bedside or desktop eyeglasses holder, we don’t carry them, but a site like Optacaddy does and they are listed in our directory in the Eyewear & Fashion Accessories section.

Another question we get frequently is about eyeglasses or sunglasses repair. Other than warranty returns, FramesDirect.com is not in the eyewear repair business, but other sites are and we will list them in an appropriate section, too.

We hope to include a number of quality optical and fashion sites for the benefit of our visitors in the future. Submission guidelines are tough and we will only include those sites that we feel are complementary and quality. There will be no spam in this directory. For one thing, the only way to get into it is to contact the editor of this blog for a manual review.
