A standard bifocal (multifocal)would be the only other option. You need at least two different powers or plano (no correction) with the near correction all at once. There are no other options unless you want to constantly switch between glasses.

I am an avid cyclist. I ride long distances and need to be able to read a detailed route sheet as I ride. I need glasses to read the route sheet. My options appear to be:
1. A stanard pair of glasses with a progressive lens.
2. Wrap around cycling glasses with a clip on progressive lens.

Are there other options - what do you recommend?

Cheers,

Mark
