OUR OPPORTUNITY
The primary focus of this position is to operate a variety of machines to cut lenses down to proper size and shape to fit the appropriate frame and insert the lenses into the frame ensuring proper fit for all difficult and/or priority jobs. Duties in this position are usually repetitive, requiring analysis and use of individual judgment. Specific duties for this position include ensuring lenses are properly edged consistently, verifying frame shape and axis, performing a cosmetic inspection of the lens and frame, and inserting and securing lenses into the frame. Supervision ranges from close to general.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
All duties to be performed according to the established standard and in compliance with all company policies and procedures while maintaining regular, prompt attendance and availability for overtime as needed:
- Mount lenses by inserting and securing them into the <<insert specific frame type here>> frame. Utilize screwdriver and/or other tools as needed for frame type.
- Load and unload lenses into and out of the edging machine by securing lens clamp and start machine.
- Check lens for frame fit by placing lenses into frame and/or verify lens circumference.
- Scan tray into edger and adjust settings if needed.
- Verify frame shape and axis by comparing the frame/lens to machine diagram.
- Check alignment of frame, lenses, and temples.
- Dot the lens markings to check for lens alignment.
- Read and analyze work ticket to ensure all processes are complete and accurate prior to edging.
- Inspect frame for scratches or defects and perform cosmetic inspection of the lens.
- Identify correct bevel styles needed. Run test lenses through the machine as needed.

Position Summary:
FramesDirect.com.com is seeking a Director, Online Customer Acquistion to lead FramesDirect.com’s all online customer acquisition efforts and will focus on driving growth in existing and developing new acquisition programs including, but not limited to: online advertising, SEM, SEO, Affiliate program, email marketing, Social Media marketing and partner distribution (portals, Shopping Comparison). This position requires a proven track-record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint. Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing an online customer acquisition plan designed to maximize site traffic and drive significant customer and sales growth.
- Develop media plans, manage budget and ensure effective creative development and program execution.
- Maximize paid/natural search traffic and order conversion, while meeting cost per acquisition targets.
- Executing effective affiliate programs/publisher management activities to achieve business development goals.
- Manage relationships with third party bid management partners and media agencies to effectively and efficiently allocate budget across campaigns and initiatives
- Track and report on campaign results, data analysis. Report performance on all online media acquisition/ efforts including spend, conversions number of customers acquired and ROI to the senior management team.
- Develop and maintain a robust test & learn plan to improve our online ad creative and landing pages.
- Design test strategies and creative to optimize results.
- Partner with the Product and Site Conversion team to make recommendations for on-site changes to improve acquisition programs.
- Develop promotional plans to support new product launches and company initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree, Master’s preferred.
- 7-10 years of marketing experience, minimum 5 years online / Internet marketing.
- Must be able to plan and organize major marketing programs and coordinate development by agencies and internal team.
- Strong knowledge of the Internet, online and email marketing technologies and best practices.
- Significant experience in direct response required.
- Strong experience managing agencies and 3rd party outside vendors.

Austin Job: Site Conversion Senior Analyst
The Site Conversion Senior Analyst will be responsible to constantly monitor and analyze FramesDirect.com’s site conversion, identify conversion issues and hurdles and provide data-based recommendations to the marketing and usability teams to generate more customers and drive higher sales. This role will execute and analyze daily performance reports targeted to: site visits by channels (SEO, PPC, affiliates, direct, etc), pages views, exit and bounce rates, orders and sales to measure the “health of the business”, measure and report on the impact of projects and strategic/tactical improvements. A key for success in this role is a unique blend of analytical acumen, strong experience in e-commerce, technical skills and business knowledge. This role provides the opportunity to work with a global view of the entire FramesDirect.com business.
As a conversion expert this will be a key, valuable, and visible role in the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze overall site usage (quantitatively and qualitatively)
- Site traffic analysis (by time period, promo types. etc…)
- Analyze conversion rates (by traffic sources, time of year, product, etc )
- Analyze page views, bounce and exit rate (by site areas/pages)
- Perform Funnel analysis
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand channel performance and diagnose issues
- Set up A/B tests, reporting/analysis standards
- Recommend and structure tests including home pages, category and product pages, landing pages, shopping cart, etc
- Perform granular traffic and conversion audits across points of sale to gain insight into keyword and landing page performance/category performance
- Provide insights to the SEO team as well as recommendation on how to better reference the site to maximize conversion
- Work closely with the Marketing and Merchandising team as well as the Site Usability team to improve overall conversion rate, providing data and analysis to justify required changes to the site marketing, user experience, pricing, CRM, etc
- Work closely with the Customer Acquisition team to maximize ROI of the marketing budget through site conversion
Requirements:
- BS, BA, or Graduate degree, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in e-commerce data\business analysis

OUR OPPORTUNITY
The Product Database and Catalog Manager, located in Austin, Texas, is responsible for Product Team and the constant update of assets (images and content) and data in order to keep the Company’s e-commerce product catalog up-to-date at all times. The Product and Catalog Manager will be leading these efforts with the support of a product team and working closely with the developers. The area of responsibilities includes uploading new product data and images, pro-actively propose solutions to improve efficiency of the maintenance and updates of the Product Catalog, actively participate in the product attribute definition to maximize efficiency of the FD site search engine and improve user experience on the FD site, monitor product inventory and sales, removing discontinued products at the end of their life cycle, as well as working with other departments on new product launches.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee that the technical specifications are input in the database so that each frame is categorized for search functionalities on the site
• Responsible for making sure catalog ad images are current and live and that all collections are priced correctly
• Manage and motivate the Product Data Entry Team (2 to 3 persons)
• Coordinate all communications with Company’s vendors regarding product information and product life cycle
• Coordinate and check the vendor’s electronic data feed as well as the vendor’s electronic inventory feed for all applicable collections
• Order and manage product samples for photography/video to be uploaded on the site
• Oversee and manage the digitizing of frames and sunglasses requiring internal imaging.
• Reporting Data: Keep a log of when promotions, GWPs, best sellers and price changes go live and track sales
• Make recommendations for price changes based on reported sales data
• Stay current on what products customers are searching for by analyzing Search Engine Optimization data on a regular basis. Stay abreast of competition practices
• Coordinate with Blog/Social Media team to announce when new product and new collection goes live and work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Department
• Create and update a weekly/bi-weekly newsletter and reports for internal purposes regarding new products, changes made to collections, best sellers, collection and product group performances, promos, etc.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Access (knowledge of other databases is a plus)
• Experience of data entry and product database management
• Strong Analytical skills
