Ray-Ban celebrated the birth of the brand with a re-launch of their most iconic frames – the Aviator. To celebrate the legendary accessory, infamous punk-rock groups Iggy and the Stooges and the New York Dolls joined forces with The Virgins, Free Energy, Plastiscines, The Big Pink and We Are Scientists for live shows in New York and London. The bands united to honor timeless rock ‘n’ roll style with a series of portraits by esteemed rock photographer Kevin Cummins. As for Ray-Ban Aviators . . . Kids love ‘em.
